Job summary

Truist is seeking a Regular Retail Banker for our Tampa, FL location to deliver exceptional client service while expanding customer relationships. The role combines everyday banking duties with consultative sales and timely referrals to specialists for financial growth opportunities.

Responsibilities include processing teller transactions when needed, meeting service goals, and maintaining compliance with policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2 years of client sales and service experience
• Experience with sourcing and prospecting for new clients and client relationship building
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office
• Must be SAFE (Mortgage Licensing Act) compliant within 30 days of employment and pass an NMLS background check
• Ability to multi-task under time constraints
• Ability to travel for temporary staffing needs and occasional travel/overnights
• Ability to work weekends and/or extended hours with travel as needed

Responsibilities

• Provide client service in person and by phone, expanding relationships
• Work toward branch sales targets by offering products and services
• Refer complex needs to internal specialists
• Participate in Leadership routines and sales meetings
• Attend training and product knowledge sessions
• Advise on consumer lending options and take loan applications
• Adhere to internal controls and risk management policies
• Greet clients and assist with teller transactions as needed
