Job summary

Truist is hiring a customer-focused banking professional in Tampa, FL, to deliver exceptional in-person and phone service while expanding client relationships. The role includes cross-training for teller duties and advising on lending options, with emphasis on regulatory compliance and risk controls.

You will maintain relationships, meet service and sales targets, and collaborate with specialists to address client needs. Strong communication and MS Office skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education required.
• 2 years of client sales and service experience.
• Experience sourcing and prospecting for new clients and building client relationships.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency with basic computer applications including MS Office.
• Must be SAFE compliant within 30 days of employment and meet regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Exercises advanced proficiency with routine client maintenance requests, problem resolution and advanced sales functions regarding deposit, credit, and other product and service lines.
• Contributes to meeting or exceeding client service and branch sales targets by developing and retaining relationships.
• Supports team sales process by conducting consultative conversations and referring complex needs to internal specialists.
• Participates in Retail Community Bank Leadership routines.
• Advances knowledge of sales techniques and product knowledge through training and meetings.
• Advises on consumer lending options and takes loan applications.
• Adheres to internal controls and risk management policies to ensure compliance.
• Engages clients with courteous service during transactions and assists them navigating the branch.
