Job summary

Truist in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a client service oriented professional to provide in-person and phone-based service, expand client relationships and cross-train for teller duties as needed.

Responsibilities include servicing deposits, loans, and other products, meeting branch sales goals, and participating in leadership routines while maintaining compliance and a high level of service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• 2 years of client sales and service experience.
• Experience with sourcing and prospecting for new clients and client relationship building.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including a desire to interact with clients and prospects.
• Must be SAFE compliant within 30 days of employment, including NMLS background check.
• Ability to multi-task under time constraints.
• Ability to travel to accommodate temporary staffing needs and locale changes.
• Ability to work weekends and/or extended hours with occasional travel/overnights.

Responsibilities

• Exercises advanced proficiency with routine client maintenance requests, problem resolution and sales functions related to deposit, credit, and other product lines.
• Contributes to meeting or exceeding client service and branch sales targets by developing, expanding and retaining relationships.
• Supports team sales process by conducting consultative conversations and referring complex needs to internal specialists.
• Participates in Retail Community Bank Leadership routines.
• Advances sales techniques and product knowledge through trainings and meetings.
• Advises on consumer lending options and takes loan applications.
• Adheres to internal controls and risk management policies to ensure compliance.
• Engages clients with courteous service during transactions and helps them navigate the branch.
