Truist Financial Corporation is seeking a Regular Banking Associate in Jacksonville, FL. You will deliver an industry-leading client service experience in person and by phone, expanding relationships and offering financial solutions through consultative conversations.

Cross-training may include teller duties as needed. The role supports sales targets, delivers product knowledge, and ensures policy compliance while engaging clients with courtesy.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• 2 years of client sales and service experience.
• Experience with sourcing and prospecting for new clients and client relationship building.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including a desire to interact with clients and prospects.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office.
• Must be SAFE (Mortgage Licensing Act) compliant within 30 days of employment, including NMLS background check.
• Ability to multi-task under time constraints.
• Ability to travel to accommodate temporary staffing needs as required to include temporary assignment or locale changes.
• Ability to work weekends and/or extended hours with occasional travel and overnights.

Responsibilities

• Ex exercises advanced proficiency with routine client maintenance requests, problem resolution and advanced sales functions regarding deposit, credit, convenience and other product and service lines.
• Contributes to meeting or exceeding client service and branch sales targets by offering products and services to develop and retain relationships.
• Supports team sales process by conducting consultative conversations and referring complex needs to internal specialists.
• Participates fully in all components of the established Retail Community Bank Leadership routines.
• Advances knowledge of sales techniques and product knowledge through meetings and trainings.
• Advises on consumer lending options and takes loan applications.
• Adheres to internal controls and risk management policies; stays informed of policy changes.
• Ensures a consistent client service experience by greeting clients and assisting with transactions.
