Job summary

Truist is seeking a Universal Banker to provide timely client service, complete transactions, and maintain accurate records at our branch location in Maryland. The role focuses on helping clients with digital banking, outbound outreach, and supporting Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) activities.

Responsibilities include educating clients on self-service options, handling complex and standard transactions, and collaborating with branch teams to identify client needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years teller, cash handling, or client service experience.
• Six months of client relationship building or sales experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; able to engage with clients and prospects.
• Proficient with PC keyboard and branch automation software.
• Ability to multi-task and meet time constraints.
• Experience with Microsoft Office products.
• Willingness to travel for temporary staffing needs and weekends/extended hours.

Responsibilities

• Provide distinctive client experience through courteous conversations and handling of transactions.
• Educate clients on digital banking and self‑service solutions.
• Support sales through outbound client outreach and referrals to branch teams.
• Understand Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) to deliver Truist expertise.
• Participate in Retail Leadership routines and training; stay informed on policies and procedures.
• Advance product knowledge through meetings and training.
• Assume secondary contact for new accounts and issue resolution.
• Manage workload in line with branch demands.
