Job summary

Truist in Washington, DC is seeking a Universal Banker to provide timely and accurate client transactions while delivering superior service. You will help clients understand their financial needs and support outbound calling and Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) activities.

In this role, you will educate clients on digital banking options, participate in branch sales, and maintain strong records while adhering to risk and policy guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years teller, cash handling or client service experience.
• Six months client relationship or sales experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Basic PC and software proficiency.
• Ability to multi-task under time constraints.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Willingness to travel for temporary staffing needs.
• Weekend or extended hours availability with possible travel.

Responsibilities

• Provide a distinctive client experience with courteous conversation and accurate transactions.
• Educate clients on digital self-service options (ATMs, Online/Mobile banking).
• Support sales through outbound calls and identifying client needs.
• Understand Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) to deliver Truist solutions.
• Participate in branch leadership routines and training.
• Adhere to internal controls and risk management policies.
• Serve as secondary contact for new accounts and issue resolution.
