Job summary

Truist is hiring a Universal Banker to provide timely client services and accurate transaction handling in a branch environment. You will guide clients toward digital solutions, engage in outbound outreach, and support Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) activities to meet financial needs.

Responsibilities include performing complex transactions, promoting self-service options, and participating in branch leadership routines while maintaining compliance with policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• Two years teller or cash handling or client service experience.
• Six months of client relationship building or sales experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including a desire to interact with clients and prospects.
• Ability to master personal computer (PC) keyboard and software skills necessary for branch automation.
• Ability to multi-task under time constraints.
• Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products.
• Ability to travel to accommodate temporary staffing needs as required to include temporary assignment or locale changes.
• Ability to work weekends and/or extended hours with occasional travel and overnights may be included.

Responsibilities

• Provide a distinctive client experience to ensure a consistent service level by engaging clients with smiling, facilitating courteous conversation, conducting both complex and standardized transactions while uncovering needs.
• Educate clients on digital, self-service solutions including ATMs, Online and Mobile banking.
• Support team sales process by participating in client outreach through outbound calls, checking for client offers, and identifying client needs or opportunities.
• Understand the importance of Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) to deliver Truist expertise and solutions for clients’ needs.
• Participate fully in all components of the established Truist Retail Community Bank Leadership Routines.
• Commit to advancing knowledge through training and product knowledge meetings.
• Adhere to internal controls, policies and risk management.
• Serve as secondary contact for new account openings and problem resolution, offering products and services.
