Job summary

Truist Financial Corporation is seeking a Regular Teller/Relationship role within its Retail Community Bank. The position focuses on delivering exceptional client service in person and by phone, expanding client relationships, and offering financial solutions through consultative conversations.

Responsibilities include advising on consumer lending options, handling teller duties as needed, and collaborating with internal specialists to meet branch goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2 years of client sales and service experience.
• Experience sourcing and prospecting for new clients and building relationships.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency with basic computer applications (Microsoft Office).
• SAFE compliance within 30 days of employment, including NMLS background checks.
• Ability to multi-task under time constraints.
• Willingness to travel for temporary staffing needs and to work weekends/extended hours.

Responsibilities

• Provide industry-leading client service in person and by phone.
• Meet or exceed branch client service and sales targets through relationship development.
• Refer or consult on complex needs to internal specialists.
• Participate in all components of leadership routines.
• Continuously develop sales techniques and product knowledge.
• Advise on consumer lending options and take loan applications.
• Adhere to internal controls, procedures and risk management policies.
• Assist with teller duties as needed and greet clients to navigate the branch.
