Truist Financial Corporation is seeking a Relationship Banker to provide industry-leading client service both in person and on the phone, developing and expanding client relationships and offering financial solutions based on consultative conversations and referrals to other business partners.

The role includes cross-training to perform teller duties as needed, supports branch sales processes, and ensures compliance with policies while delivering a high level of service to clients.

Qualifications

• 2 years of client sales and service experience
• Experience with sourcing and prospecting for new clients and client relationship building
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficiency in basic computer applications such as Microsoft Office
• SAFE compliance within 30 days of employment and ongoing regulatory requirements
• Ability to multi-task under time constraints
• Ability to travel to accommodate temporary staffing needs and occasional travel/overnights

Responsibilities

• Exercising advanced proficiency with routine client maintenance requests and sales functions
• Contributing to meeting client service and sales targets by expanding relationships
• Referencing more complex client needs to internal specialists
• Participating in branch leadership routines
• Attending sales and product knowledge training
• Advising on consumer lending options and taking loan applications
• Adhering to internal controls and policies
• Engaging clients with courteous service while conducting transactions and uncovering needs
