Job summary

JPMorganChase in New Jersey is seeking a Relationship Banker in a Chase Branch to represent our brand with hospitality and trusted financial guidance. You will acquire, manage, and retain client relationships, using your knowledge to offer thoughtful solutions to address their financial needs and simplify their lives.

You will work with clients face-to-face and over the phone, educating them on Chase solutions, navigating technology, and coordinating with specialists to meet complex needs.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of sales experience in Retail Banking, Financial Services, or related industries with proven success in establishing new clients and delivering results.
• Ability to create memorable experiences for our clients.
• Excellent communication skills, both in person and over the phone, with proven ability to tailor features and benefits of products and services to clients.
• Ability to resolve client issues with attention to detail.
• Operate within established risk parameters and meet risk/compliance obligations, including required training.
• High school degree, GED, or foreign equivalent.
• The Securities Industry Essential (SIE) exam, FINRA Series 6, state registration (including 63 if required), and Life licenses are minimum requirements. All unlicensed applicants must obtain licenses through our licensing program within 180 days of hire.
• Ability to work branch hours including weekends and some evenings.

Responsibilities

• Put clients first and exceed their expectations - deliver attentive and friendly service, creating a welcoming environment.
• Manage assigned clients and proactively meet with them, both in person and over the phone, to build lasting relationships, understand financial needs, and tailor product and service recommendations.
• Engage in clear, polite, consultative communication to understand and help clients, building trust – ask questions and listen to understand, anticipate their needs.
• Educate and connect clients to technology solutions such as the Chase Mobile App, Chase.com, and ATMs to help them with their banking needs whenever, wherever, and however they want.
• Learn products, services, and procedures quickly and accurately to effectively consult with clients about banking solutions, as well as collaborate with and connect them to our team of experts to help with specialized financial needs.
• Adhere to policies, procedures, and regulatory banking requirements.
