Job summary

Community Partners in Action (CPA) seeks a Reintegration Mentor for the REGIONS Site Secure Residential Treatment Program for male youth in Hamden, CT. The role emphasizes trauma-informed, gender-specific care and family engagement to support successful community reentry.

The candidate should have a bachelor’s degree in a related field and experience with youth, with bilingual English/Spanish preferred. A valid CT driver’s license and reliable transportation are required for transport and family

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in human services, Psychology, Criminal Justice or related field.
  • Experience and/or lived experience with youth or residential programs.
  • Knowledge of the juvenile justice system preferred.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred; CT driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Clinician to engage youth, family and community resources.
  • Facilitate youth and family team meetings and support transitions to aftercare.
  • Reinforce the youth’s individual treatment plan and provide ongoing support.
  • Establish connections with community resources and vocational opportunities.
  • Maintain professional boundaries and comply with reporting requirements.
