Hylant seeks a Captive Reinsurance Accountant to support evaluation and management of reinsurance contracts, claims, and relations with reinsurers. The role ensures compliance with policies, efficient claim settlements, and insightful reporting to inform decisions.

The incumbent will collaborate with internal stakeholders, build strong reinsurer relationships, and contribute to process improvements while staying current with system changes and SOPs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent
• 3+ years in reinsurance accounting, insurance, or related financial field
• Proficiency with MS Office, especially Excel and Outlook

Responsabilités

• Prepare technical, financial accounting of premium, claim and reserves based on statements or bordereaux.
• Review and analyze reinsurance contracts for policy adherence.
• Manage processing and settlement of reinsurance claims accurately and efficiently.
• Generate reinsurance reports and conduct analyses for decision-making.
