Hylant is seeking a Captive Reinsurance Accountant to support the evaluation and management of reinsurance contracts, claims, and reinsurers. The role ensures compliance with company policies, efficient claim settlement, and effective communication with reinsurers.

You will prepare technical, financial accounting of premium, claim and reserves based on statements of accounts or bordereaux. The position involves contract review, settlement processing, reporting, stakeholder guidance, and

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required or preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in reinsurance accounting, insurance or similar financial area.

Responsabilités

Review and analyze reinsurance contracts to ensure adherence to company policies and guidelines.
Manage the processing and settlement of reinsurance claims, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
Generate reinsurance reports and conduct analysis to support decision-making.
Consult internal stakeholders on Statutory and Reinsurance Accounting expertise and guidance.
Drive continuous process improvement and standardization; identify areas for process improvement and inefficiencies.
Join training sessions to maintain current knowledge of systems, processes, and changes.
Keep SOP/training guides up to date in collaboration with Captive Account Executives.
Perform other duties and special projects as requested.
