Job summary

Washington State Department of Social and Health Services (DSHS) DVR is hiring a Rehabilitation Technician 1 to assist Vocational Rehabilitation Counselors and staff in delivering services to people with disabilities. Qualifications

• Two years of college-level coursework and/or one year of direct customer service experience.
• Experience with front desk or reception duties.
• Ability to explain DVR programs and eligibility requirements.
• Knowledge of community resources helpful.

Responsibilities

• Provide general office support with front desk responsibilities.
• Greet participants and direct them to services.
• Enter new applications into Case Management System within five days.
• Assist with developing the Individual Plan for Employment and coordinating with vendors.
• Schedule interpreters and meetings with Vocational Rehabilitation Counselors.
