Job summary

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech Pathology from an accredited school.
• Speech Language Pathologist license issued by the state.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers.
• No experience required.
• Intermediate computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Interprets physician referrals and conducts speech and language evaluations.
• Establishes a written plan of care and implements treatment based on evaluation results and goals.
• Monitors outcomes and adjusts treatment plans as needed; reports to physicians and teammates.
• Plans for discharge including home programs and family teaching; coordinates referrals for community services.
• Documents care and progress; completes billing, scheduling, and sharing information per policy.
• May supervise non-licensed personnel and support student clinical education.
