Job summary

Advocate Health - Outpatient Rehabilitation is seeking a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, voice, cognitive and swallowing disorders. The clinician will develop written plans of care, monitor progress, and coordinate with physicians and the care team in an outpatient setting in Elgin, IL.

The role requires a Master’s degree in Speech Pathology, state licensure (CCC SLP), and 1 year of pediatric experience, with BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech Pathology from an accredited school.
• Speech Language Pathologist license issued by the state.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification.
• CCC SLP required.
• 1 year of speech therapy experience in pediatric settings.

Responsibilities

• Interprets physician referrals and conducts speech and language evaluations.
• Establishes a written plan of care and implements treatment.
• Monitors outcomes and adjusts treatment plans as needed.
• Completes documentation per department policy and accreditation standards.
• Maintains site productivity and adheres to billing/documentation policies.
