Job summary

Brooks Rehabilitation in Jacksonville, FL seeks a part-time Rehab Office Coordinator to handle patient and staff scheduling, correspondence, and reporting for the Rehab Department. The role supports confidentiality and professional conduct in a three-story, 111-bed facility at University Crossing.

You will work with the rehab team to maintain accurate schedules, assist with billing and statistics, and contribute to a positive patient experience in a renowned nonprofit system.

Qualifications

• High school graduate.
• 1–2 years experience in a business office or medical environment.
• Some medical terminology helpful, but not required.
• SNF experience preferred.
• Scheduling experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with health care staff.
• Plan and prepare staffing schedules; enter into software and produce reports.
• Schedule all patients daily and modify as needed; notify manager of staffing gaps.
• Answer calls professionally; perform general office functions and maintain records.
• Support billing, statistics, and data submission for the Rehab Department.
