Job summary

Select Medical in Portage, IN is seeking a Rehab Aide for a part-time, on-site role at our outpatient physical therapy center. You will assist therapists, help organize services, and support center operations to ensure smooth patient care.

The position offers a path to growth, with mentorship, and benefits typically associated with part-time roles. Prior PT center experience is a plus, along with CPR and first aid certifications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in a pre-health profession.
• CPR certification.
• First aid certification.

Responsibilities

• Aide therapists in carrying out rehabilitation procedures, organize/schedule and keep records of ancillary services and support other center-specific functions.
• Observe and report any abnormal patient conditions, reactions or responses to treatment.
• Play a significant role in center operations (scheduling ancillary services and following up, overseeing a specific program, serving as OSHA coordinator).
• Clean, sterilize and prepare equipment.

Type of Employment: Part Time

Schedule: Weekdays, Monday through FridayCompensation: $12.50 - $13.00/based on experience
