Job summary

Select Medical in Apollo, PA is seeking a Rehab Aide to assist our therapists in delivering rehabilitation procedures and to support day-to-day center operations in an outpatient setting.

This per diem/PRN role offers weekdays scheduling with hours varying and compensation starting at $12 per hour, depending on experience. The position provides opportunities to contribute to patient recovery and help maintain an efficient clinic workflow.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• CPR certification.
• First aid certification.
• Experience in an outpatient physical therapy center preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist therapists with rehabilitation procedures and organize schedules and records.
• Observe and report abnormal patient conditions or responses to treatment.
• Support center operations, including scheduling ancillary services and program oversight.
• Clean, sterilize and prepare equipment.

In this role, you will assist our therapists in carrying out our rehabilitation procedures and play an integral role in supporting our center operations.

Responsibilities

• Aide therapists in carrying out rehabilitation procedures, organize/schedule and keep records of ancillary services and support other center-specific functions
• Observe and report any abnormal patient conditions, reactions or responses to treatment
• Play a significant role in specific area of center operations (scheduling ancillary services and following up, overseeing a specific program, serving as OSHA coordinator, etc.)
• Clean, sterilize and prepare equipment

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED

Preferred Qualifications

• CPR certification
• First aid certification
• Prior experience in an outpatient physical therapy center
