Job summary

RUSH Physical Therapy in Portage, IN seeks a Rehab Aide to support therapists in outpatient rehabilitation. The role focuses on assisting procedures, organizing records, and helping with center operations. Part-time with a Monday–Friday weekday schedule.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED; CPR and First Aid certifications are preferred. Prior outpatient PT experience is a plus, with mentorship and benefits for those working 32+ hours per week.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Aide therapists in rehabilitation procedures and assist with scheduling/records.

Schedule: Weekdays, Monday through Friday

Compensation: $12.50 - $13.00/based on experience

Responsibilities

• Aide therapists in carrying out rehabilitation procedures, organize/schedule and keep records of ancillary services and support other center-specific functions
• Observe and report any abnormal patient conditions, reactions or responses to treatment
• Play a significant role in specific area of center operations (scheduling ancillary services and following up, overseeing a specific program, serving as OSHA coordinator, etc.)
• Clean, sterilize and prepare equipment

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED

Preferred Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in a pre-health profession (biology, rehabilitation sciences, exercise science, etc.)
• CPR certification
• First aid certification
• Prior experience in an outpatient physical therapy center
