Job summary

Select Medical in Ambridge, PA is seeking a Rehab Aide to support therapists in an outpatient physical therapy setting. In this role, you will help carry out rehabilitation procedures, organize scheduling, and assist with center operations. Per Diem schedule, Monday–Friday, hours vary, compensation $12 per hour.

You will observe patient responses, help prepare equipment, and assist with keeping records. Minimum qualification is a high school diploma or GED; CPR and First Aid certifications, and

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• CPR certification preferred.
• First aid certification preferred.
• Prior experience in an outpatient physical therapy center preferred.

In this role, you will assist our therapists in carrying out our rehabilitation procedures and play an integral role in supporting our center operations.

Responsibilities

• Aide therapists in carrying out rehabilitation procedures, organize/schedule and keep records of ancillary services and support other center-specific functions
• Observe and report any abnormal patient conditions, reactions or responses to treatment
• Play a significant role in specific area of center operations (scheduling ancillary services and following up, overseeing a specific program, serving as OSHA coordinator, etc.)
• Clean, sterilize and prepare equipment

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED

Preferred Qualifications

• CPR certification
• First aid certification
• Prior experience in an outpatient physical therapy center
