Job summary

Select Medical in Elmwood Park, IL is seeking a Rehab Aide to support therapists in outpatient rehabilitation. You will assist with procedures, organize schedules, and help with center operations, ensuring patient care and safety.

The role requires a high school diploma and certifications; bilingual ability and prior outpatient PT experience are a plus. The position offers a full-time schedule with two evenings until 7pm per week and compensation ranging from $17.00 to $19.50 per hour depending

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CPR certification preferred.
• First aid certification preferred.
• Prior experience in an outpatient physical therapy center is a plus.
• Bilingual abilities are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Aide therapists in carrying out rehabilitation procedures and assist with scheduling/record-keeping for ancillary services.
• Observe and report any abnormal patient conditions or reactions to treatment.
• Assist in center operations, including scheduling ancillary services and overseeing specific programs (OSHA coordinator, etc.).
• Clean, sterilize and prepare equipment.

Responsibilities

• Aide therapists in carrying out rehabilitation procedures, organize/schedule and keep records of ancillary services and support other center-specific functions
