Job summary

Select Medical in Pittsburgh, PA is seeking a Rehab Aide for our outpatient physical therapy center. This per diem role supports therapists, assists with procedures, scheduling, and center operations.

You will help prepare and sterilize equipment, monitor patient responses, and contribute to a smooth, patient-focused rehabilitation journey at 2961 West Liberty Ave Pittsburgh, PA 15216.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CPR and First Aid certifications preferred.
• Experience in outpatient physical therapy a plus.

Responsibilities

• Aide therapists in rehabilitation procedures and assist with scheduling and record-keeping.
• Observe and report any abnormal patient conditions, reactions or responses to treatment.
• Assist with center operations (scheduling ancillary services, following up, OSHA coordination, etc.).
• Clean, sterilize and prepare equipment.

Position: Rehab Aide

Location: 2961 West Liberty Aveune Pittsburgh, PA 15216

Type of Employment: Per Diem

Schedule: Mondy - Friday (hours vary/ some evening until 7pm)Compensation: $10.00 - $12.00/hour (pending experience)

In this role, you will assist our therapists in carrying out our rehabilitation procedures and play an integral role in supporting our center operations.

Responsibilities

• Aide therapists in carrying out rehabilitation procedures, organize/schedule and keep records of ancillary services and support other center-specific functions
• Observe and report any abnormal patient conditions, reactions or responses to treatment
• Play a significant role in specific area of center operations (scheduling ancillary services and following up, overseeing a specific program, serving as OSHA coordinator, etc.)
• Clean, sterilize and prepare equipment

Qualifications
