Job summary

Hidden Jobs seeks a Senior Data & Regulatory Reporting Engineer to turn regulatory data into actionable dashboards and reports for audits and regulators.

You will own end-to-end data pipelines from ingestion to executive dashboards in a remote, fast-paced financial services environment, collaborating with analytics, engineering, and compliance teams.

The role emphasizes data quality, governance, and scalable modeling using Python, SQL, dbt, and Airflow to support MiFID/KYC/AML frameworks.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of data analysis and data management in regulated financial services.
• Strong SQL (complex joins, CTEs) and Python with data libraries.
• Experience with dbt and workflow orchestration.
• Proven ability to deliver audit-ready regulatory reports and dashboards.

Responsibilities

• Design and own dashboards, compliance metrics, and regulatory reports that translate data into insights for stakeholders, cross-functional partners, and regional compliance officers
• Automate end-to-end compliance data solutions, governance controls, and workflows to reduce manual intervention and minimize error
• Analyze large, complex datasets and shape them into scalable, audit-ready data models that support regulatory reporting and analytics
• Translate regulatory and business requests into accurate reports and automated data pipelines using Python, SQL, dbt, and Airflow
• Lead cross-functional projects with analysts, engineers, and compliance teams to build and maintain high-quality data pipelines and sources
• Coordinate client data quality monitoring, flag remediation issues, and partner with responsible teams to ensure timely resolution
• Support ad-hoc data requests for audits, regulatory exams, risk assessments, and day-to-day business needs
