Job summary

RemoteLeads is seeking an experienced data engineer to design and maintain scalable batch and streaming data pipelines for AI/ML analytics. You will optimize ETL/ELT workflows, data models, and data warehouse architectures while ensuring data quality and monitoring across the stack.

You will build dashboards, feature pipelines, and model-ready datasets, collaborating with product, engineering, and operations teams.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics, or a related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Advanced SQL proficiency, including complex queries and performance tuning.
• Strong Python skills and experience building production-grade ETL/ELT pipelines at scale.
• Experience with workflow orchestration tools such as Airflow.
• Experience with data platforms including Spark, Hive, Snowflake, or BigQuery.
• Experience building dashboards and visualizations with Tableau or similar tools.
• Knowledge of data modeling and data governance best practices.
• Experience enabling AI/ML workflows, including feature pipelines or AI-assisted analytics.
• Preferred: Generative AI, prompt engineering, LLM workflows, Kafka or Spark Streaming, CI/CD, Git, infrastructure as code, digital analytics tools, customer support analytics, or contractor workforce experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable batch and streaming data pipelines.
• Develop and optimize ETL/ELT workflows, data models, and data warehouse architectures.
• Implement data quality validation, monitoring, and alerting frameworks.
• Create and maintain self-service dashboards and visualizations for stakeholders.
• Build feature pipelines and model-ready datasets for AI/ML analytics.
• Automate data workflows and reporting with AI tools to reduce manual effort.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and operations teams on data-driven solutions.
• Participate in internal practice meetings, thought leadership, case studies, and learning initiatives.
• Contribute to Digital Transformation practice materials and internal networking activities.
