Job summary

Kraken is seeking a Data Analyst for Regulatory Analytics and Reporting to translate complex compliance data into actionable insights that protect the business and support leadership decisions. You will work at the intersection of data engineering, regulatory reporting, and compliance operations in a fast-paced, high-scrutiny environment where accuracy is non-negotiable.

As a true business partner, you will own end-to-end data management, build datasets and dashboards, and automate compliance

Qualifications

• 5+ years in data analysis and data management in regulated industries.
• Experience with AML, KYC, Sanctions, MiCA, or MiFID regulatory reporting.
• Strong SQL skills with complex joins, CTEs and analytics functions.
• Proficiency in Python libraries: pandas, matplotlib, plotly.
• Experience modeling data pipelines with dbt and orchestration tools.
• BI visualization tools such as QuickSight/Power BI/Superset for exec dashboards.
• Excellent communication and ability to influence stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own dashboards, compliance metrics, and regulatory reports for stakeholders.
• Automate end-to-end compliance data solutions and governance controls.
• Analyze large datasets to deliver scalable, audit-ready models.
• Translate regulatory needs into reports and automated pipelines using Python/SQL/dbt/Airflow.
• Lead cross-functional projects to maintain high‑quality data sources.
• Coordinate data quality monitoring and partner to resolve issues promptly.
• Support ad-hoc data requests for audits, exams, and risk assessments.
