Job summary

Cap8 Doors & Hardware in the District is seeking a Compliance Coordinator to ensure regulatory, contractual, and client compliance. You will support licensing, insurance, reporting, and documentation while coordinating with internal teams, clients, and partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• DC Notary Public commissioned or ability to be commissioned.
• 2+ years in compliance, licensing, or admin coordination; construction industry a plus.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with ability to meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and excellent written/verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Maintain licensing requirements for the company and renewals.
• Coordinate with clients to provide licensing documentation.
• Prepare monthly owner- and contractor-controlled insurance program reporting.
• Manage monthly reporting for DC and other jurisdictional compliance programs.
• Complete quarterly verification reporting per regulatory and client requirements.
• Track and execute lien waivers.
• Prepare and transmit project setup and closeout documentation.
• Manage certificates of insurance and liaise with IT partners on systems security.
• Maintain in-office software credentials and access.
