Tennessee Oncology is seeking a Registration Coordinator to provide medical office support, including patient check-in and select check-out functions. The role emphasizes accurate data capture in the Electronic Health Record, handling demographics, insurance details, and payments, while ensuring confidentiality and policy adherence.

Responsibilities include greeting patients, routing calls, managing daily reports, and coordinating registrations across clinics.

Formación

• High school graduate or equivalent with GED.
• 2 years of previous professional office experience and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Strong computer skills including Windows file management and MS Office, and e-mail experience.

Responsabilidades

• Answers the telephones and greets patients in a courteous, efficient manner and routes calls/messages to appropriate department.
• Follows policy and procedures to standardize processes across clinics.
• Conducts patient check-in and maintains accurate patient records in the EHR.
• Obtains and enters pre-patient registration, demographics, and insurance information.
• Tracks patients in the PM or EHR and ensures no shows or missed appointments are documented.
• Collects co-payments and manages end-of-day deposits.
• Schedules internal patient appointments and walk-ins; supports nurse triage and sample drop-off.
• Travel to other clinics as needed for business.
• Maintains patient confidentiality and adheres to policies.
