Job summary

Mercy Hospital St. Louis is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for the night shift (7 pm – 7:30 AM) at Saint Louis, MO.

You will provide direct patient care per physician orders and consult with physicians on therapy effectiveness, serving as a resource to the care team. Qualifications include graduation from a CoARC-approved respiratory care program, current RCP license, NBRC RRT credential, and ACLS preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of CoArc-approved Respiratory Care program.

Shift:

Nightshift 7 pm - 7:30 AM

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of CoArc-approved Respiratory Care program.
• Licensure: Meets state licensure requirements and has a current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license.
• Experience: None.
• Certifications: Hold the Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential awarded by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC). For co-workers who work in the Emergency Room PALS is required.
• Other: Physical demands are attached plus push, pull, and grip up to 50 lbs. Plus, pinch up to 10 lbs., kneel, crouch, and crawl minimally. Equipment Used: All appropriate respiratory care devices.
• Preferred Education: Acute Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• Preferred Experience: Prefer critical care experience.
