Mercy Hospital St. Louis is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to provide direct patient care in line with physician orders. You’ll consult on therapy effectiveness and serve as an advanced resource for physicians and nursing staff on respiratory care.

Night shift 7 pm–7:30 am with shift differential; sign-on bonus up to $10,000. Requirements include a CoARC-approved program, current RCP license, NBRC RRT credential; PALS for ER; ACLS preferred; no experience required.

Formación

• Graduate of a CoARC-approved Respiratory Care program.
• Current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license.
• NBRC RRT credential required.
• PALS required for ER staff.
• ACLS preferred.
• Prior critical care experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

Sign-On-Bonus incentive included up to $10,000

Shift:

Nightshift 7 pm - 7:30 AM

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of CoArc-approved Respiratory Care program.
• Licensure: Meets state licensure requirements and has a current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license.
• Experience: None.
• Certifications: Hold the Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential awarded by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC). For co-workers who work in the Emergency Room PALS is required.
• Other: Physical demands are attached plus push, pull, and grip up to 50 lbs. Plus, pinch up to 10 lbs., kneel, crouch, and crawl minimally. Equipment Used: All appropriate respiratory care devices.
• Preferred Education: Acute Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• Preferred Experience: Prefer critical care experience.
