Mercy Hospital Saint Louis is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to perform direct patient care in all aspects of respiratory care, following physician orders. You will consult with physicians on therapy effectiveness and serve as an advanced resource for doctors and nursing staff.

Night shift and a sign-on bonus up to $10,000 are included. Must Graduate from a CoARC-approved Respiratory Care program with an RCP license; NBRC RRT credential is required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a CoARC-approved Respiratory Care program.
• Current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license as per state requirements.
• Hold NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential.
• PALS is required for ER coworkers.

Responsabilités

• Provide direct patient care in respiratory therapy per physician orders.
• Consult physicians on the effectiveness of therapy.
• Serve as an advanced resource person for physicians and nursing on respiratory care.
• Perform duties as assigned.

Sign-On-Bonus incentive included up to $10,000

Shift:

Nightshift 7 pm - 7:30 AM

Eligible for Shift Differential!

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of CoArc-approved Respiratory Care program.
• Licensure: Meets state licensure requirements and has a current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license.
• Experience: None.
• Certifications: Hold the Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential awarded by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC). For co-workers who work in the Emergency Room PALS is required.
• Other: Physical demands are attached plus push, pull, and grip up to 50 lbs. Plus, pinch up to 10 lbs., kneel, crouch, and crawl minimally. Equipment Used: All appropriate respiratory care devices.
• Preferred Education: Acute Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• Preferred Experience: Prefer critical care experience.
