Mercy is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to perform direct patient care in all aspects of respiratory therapy under physician orders at Mercy Hospital St. Louis. You will consult with physicians on therapy effectiveness and serve as an advanced resource for the care team.

Night shifts run 7:00 pm to 7:30 am with shift differential eligibility. A sign-on bonus of up to $10,000 is included. Applicants must meet RCP licensure, hold NBRC RRT credentials, and have ACLS preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of CoArc-approved Respiratory Care program.
• Current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license.
• NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential.
• ACLS certification preferred.
• Critical care experience preferred.
• Physical demands include lifting and crawling as required.

Nightshift 7 pm - 7:30 AM

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of CoArc-approved Respiratory Care program.
• Licensure: Meets state licensure requirements and has a current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license.
• Experience: None.
• Certifications: Hold the Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential awarded by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC). For co-workers who work in the Emergency Room PALS is required.
• Other: Physical demands are attached plus push, pull, and grip up to 50 lbs. Plus, pinch up to 10 lbs., kneel, crouch, and crawl minimally. Equipment Used: All appropriate respiratory care devices.
• Preferred Education: Acute Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• Preferred Experience: Prefer critical care experience.
