Ascension’s The Studer Family Children’s Hospital at Ascension Sacred Heart in Pensacola, FL, seeks a RN for the Pediatric ICU. This PRN, night-shift role requires Florida RN licensure and a current BLS certification, with a Diploma in Nursing or equivalent licensure at hire.

Responsibilities include implementing care plans, coordinating multidisciplinary care, and ensuring timely discharge planning in a fast-paced PICU setting.

Qualificações

• BLS provider certification within 1 month of hire (AHA or Red Cross accepted).
• Licensed Registered Nurse in Florida before hire date; multi-state license recognition (Compact State) required.
• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing or equivalent licensure at time of hire.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Florida Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Licensed as a Registered Nurse in Florida required. Credentialed from State Board of Nursing or current home state license for multi-state license recognition "Compact State" obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.

Additional Preferences

• One (1) year of PICU experience.
