Job summary

Ascension's The Studer Family Children's Hospital at Ascension Sacred Heart in Pensacola, FL, seeks an experienced Neonatal ICU RN to join the night shift. You will collaborate across disciplines, implement care plans, monitor patient conditions and coordinate discharge planning to ensure safe, effective care.

Required Florida RN license, BLS, and preferably NICU experience. The role offers full-time night schedule with comprehensive benefits and opportunities for ongoing professional

Qualifications

• BLS certification required within 1 month of hire date.
• Pediatric ICU experience preferred for rapid coordination of care.

How you’ll make an impact in this role

• Implement and monitor patient care plans.


• Monitor, record and communicate patient condition as appropriate.


• Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.


• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.


• Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.


• Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Florida Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Licensed as a Registered Nurse in Florida required. Credentialed from State Board of Nursing or current home state license for multi-state license recognition \"Compact State\" obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.


• Certification specializing in The S.T.A.B.L.E Program preferred.

Education

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.

• One (1) year of Pediatric RN experience, ICU experience.
