Ascension's Studer Family Children's Hospital pediatric ER in Pensacola, FL is seeking an experienced RN for the Night Shift. You will implement and monitor patient care plans and coordinate multi-disciplinary care to ensure well-coordinated patient outcomes.

The role requires Florida RN licensure, BLS/ACLS within set timelines, and a Diploma in Nursing. Join a team focused on compassionate, high-quality pediatric emergency care and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Florida Board of Nursing and active prior to hire.
• BLS Provider certification within 30 days of hire or as instructor; ACLS within 6 months or as instructor.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• Required Credential(s):
  • Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Florida Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Licensed as a Registered Nurse in Florida. Credentialed from State Board of Nursing or current home state license for multi-state license recognition "Compact State" obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • One or more of the following:
    • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
    • Instructor specializing in Basic Life Support obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • One or more of the following:
    • Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
    • Instructor specializing in Advanced Cardio Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required. OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
