Job summary

Ascension is seeking a dedicated registered nurse for the MedSurg Oncology unit at Columbia Saint Mary's Hospital in Milwaukee, WI. This day shift, full-time position focuses on delivering patient-centered care and coordinating multidisciplinary treatment plans.

You will implement care plans, document patient status, carry out orders, and assist with discharge planning. You must hold a Wisconsin RN license and BLS within 1 month of hire; a nursing diploma is required.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider certification within 1 month of hire date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing before hire date. Wisconsin licensure or multi-state/Compact license.

• Serve as primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Licensure from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing OR current home state license if considered multi-state/Compact State.

Education

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
