Job summary

Ascension is seeking a Registered Nurse to lead high-acuity patient care across Intermediate and Med/Surg units in Milwaukee, utilizing progressive care training to stabilize and support complex patients. You will coordinate care across clinical disciplines to ensure a seamless and well‑coordinated recovery plan.

• RN credentialed by Wisconsin Board of Nursing or multi-state license

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Licensure from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing OR current home state license if considered multi-state/Compact State.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire required.

Additional Preferences

• Three years of nursing experience preferred.
• Med/surg and progressive care trained. We are the tertiary care site for Ascension so all specialty and high acuity patients are sent to our campus.
