Job summary

Ascension is seeking a Nurse Manager for the Med Surg department at Columbia St. Mary's Hospital Ozaukee Campus in Mequon, WI. This full-time night-shift role leads clinical teams to deliver safe, high-quality patient care across the unit.

You will assess daily needs, strategically assign resources, support staff development, and partner with families, physicians and the nursing team to champion patient advocacy and continuous improvement, including input on hiring and performance development.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider within 30 days of hire or transfer date required (American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted).
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education

• Required professional licensure/certification AND 1 year of cumulative job specific experience required.
