Job summary

Ascension in Milwaukee, WI is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Surgery Recovery Room on a night shift, full-time basis. You will implement and monitor patient care plans, coordinate across disciplines, and ensure orders are carried out while supporting discharge planning with the healthcare team.

Qualified candidates hold Wisconsin RN licensure, BLS, and a nursing diploma. At least 2 years in med/surg or procedural settings is preferred, with comprehensive benefits available.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider within 1 month of hire date. AHA or ARC accepted.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from Wisconsin Board of Nursing or multi-state license.
• Diploma from an accredited nursing program or equivalent licensure at hire.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Licensure from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing OR current home state license if considered multi-state/Compact State. Licensure is dependent on state associate works in.

Education

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire required.
