Job summary

Ascension is seeking a Nurse Aide for Columbia Saint Mary’s Hospital in Milwaukee, WI, on the Night Shift and Full-Time basis. You will assist with patient entry/exit, help with activities of daily living, and support the nursing team with documentation and equipment upkeep.

Minimum requirements include BLS within 30 days and Wisconsin Nurse Aide Registry credential prior to hire. A high school diploma equivalency or 1 year of related experience is acceptable.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Nurse Aide credentialed from the Wisconsin Nurse Aide Registry obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Certified Nursing Assistant credentialed from the state of Wisconsin, and in Nurse Aide Registry with eligibility to work in a hospital setting obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
• Additional certs may be required by specific job locations.
