Job summary

Ascension is seeking a Registered Nurse for the North Vernon, IN area, at ASV Jennings, in Medical Surgical. This FT night shift role involves implementing care plans, coordinating multi-disciplinary care, and executing physician orders.

You will assess discharge needs and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure smooth patient transitions. A nursing diploma and Indiana RN licensure are required, with BLS credentials and instructor certification preferred.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider within 30 days of hire date
• BLS Instructor within 30 days of hire date
• Diploma from an accredited nursing school

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• Required Credential(s):

• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

• One or more of the following:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

• Instructor specializing in Basic Life Support obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required. OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
