Ascension is offering a nurse residency program at Ascension St. Vincent in Central Indiana. The cohort runs January 2027 with options for Day or Night schedules and both full-time and part-time employment.

Participants will work across various units and collaborate with mentors to evolve from student to professional nurse, completing simulations, labs, and residency seminars to support ongoing development and effective scheduling within the department.

Formación

• BLS Provider within 30 days of hire, accepted by AHA or ARC.
• Registered Nurse licensure from Indiana Board of Nursing within 120 days of hire.
• Enrolled in or completion of Nursing program.
• Diploma from an accredited nursing school within 6 months of hire.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained within 4 Months (120 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

• Enrolled in or completion of Nursing program required.

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required within 6 months hire.
