Ascension in North Vernon, IN is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Medical Surgical unit on FT nights. You will implement care plans, monitor patient conditions, and coordinate interdisciplinary care to ensure seamless patient experiences.

The role emphasizes thorough discharge planning, order management, and collaboration with physicians and the nursing team to support optimal outcomes for diverse patients.

Qualifications

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required. OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• Required Credential(s):
  • Registered Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • One or more of the following:
    • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
    • Instructor specializing in Basic Life Support obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
      

Education

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required. OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
