Job summary

Ascension is hiring a Registered Nurse for our North Vernon, IN hospital campus. This full-time, day-shift role (3x12s) focuses on implementing and monitoring patient care plans and coordinating interdisciplinary care to ensure well-coordinated, safe patient outcomes.

You will carry out physician and nursing orders, assess discharge needs, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient flow and satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Active RN license from Indiana Board of Nursing required.
• BLS Provider certification required within 30 days of hire.
• Diploma from an accredited nursing program required.
• Experience in Medical-Surgical setting preferred.

What Minimum Requirements You'll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• Required Credential(s):
  • Registered Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • One or more of the following:
    • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
    • Instructor specializing in Basic Life Support obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required. OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
