Ascension St. Vincent in Evansville, IN is seeking a dedicated registered nurse to join our Cardiovascular team. You will deliver compassionate, high-quality care, follow gold-standard protocols, and coordinate care across disciplines to ensure patient safety and positive outcomes.

This full-time daytime position supports patient transitions, monitors health trends, and communicates changes promptly for timely interventions. Diploma or RN licensure in Indiana required; BLS; ACLS preferred.

Qualifications

• BLS within 1 month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
• RN credentialed from Indiana Board of Nursing before hire date or transfer date required.
• Advanced Life Support preferred; certificate acceptable from AHA or Red Cross.

Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, high-quality nursing care following gold-standard clinical protocols to ensure patient safety and recovery.
• Monitor health trends and communicate critical changes to the team to support timely, life-saving interventions.
• Serve as central coordinator for the multidisciplinary team, bridging gaps between specialties for a seamless patient experience.
• Translate orders into precise clinical actions, ensuring treatments are executed with accuracy and care.
• Champion care transitions by identifying discharge needs early and guiding patients home with confidence.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.


• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.


• Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire required.
