Job summary

Progeny HR Solutions LLC seeks an RN Manager for the Emergency Room to lead day-to-day ED operations in a full-time role. You will coordinate staffing, manage resources, and ensure patient care quality in a busy ER environment.

The position requires 2+ years of recent ER leadership, 5+ years RN experience, a BSN, and Texas RN licensure, with BLS/ACLS credentials. Reporting to the ED Director, the role oversees 50-60 staff and 56 beds.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of recent Acute Care ER Leadership within the last year.
• 5+ years of RN experience, with ≥2 years in Emergency Department.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing required.
• Current Texas State RN license or compact license accepted.
• BLS and ACLS required; CEN/TNCC/ENPC preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day clinical operations of the ED, including staffing and resources.
• Maintain personnel files for orientation, competency, and attendance.
• Coordinate staffing schedules and conduct evaluations with ED leadership.
• Interface with EMS and report data to ED Director/AVP.
• Maintain department statistics and monitor quality performance.

Registered Nurse Manager candidates for the Emergency Room opportunity will have the following job responsibilities:

• The Nurse Manager of Emergency Services will provide coordination of day-to-day clinical operations of the Emergency Department regarding patient care, resource management, staffing, supplies & equipment.


• You will maintain personnel files related to orientation, competency, disciplinary actions and attendance.


• You will coordinate staffing schedule, perform evaluations in conjunction with Director of ED or AVP.


• You will coordinate community and area Emergency Medical Services and follow up on cases and report required data to ED Director or AVP.


• You will maintain departmental statistics and review records for quality performance issues.

Registered Nurse Manager candidates for the Emergency Room opportunity must meet the following minimum job qualifications:

• Needs to have 2+ years of RECENT (WITHIN THE LAST YEAR) Acute Care ER Leadership experience with 5 years of RN experience (at least 2 years in Emergency Department)


• Pre-hospital EMS experience preferred; previous trauma coordinator preferred,


• Leadership/Management experience preferred.


• Bachelor's degree in nursing required.
  


• Current Texas State RN license or compact license is accepted.


• Current Healthcare Provider BLS and ACLS issued by the American Heart Association required.


• CEN, TNCC, ENPC/Pals preferred.
