Job summary

Progeny Human Resource Solutions is seeking an RN Manager to lead the Emergency Room. This full-time, days position focuses on ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care through daily unit oversight and staffing management.

The role requires recent acute ER leadership (2–3+ years), current RN licensure in the practice state, BLS; ACLS and PALS/ENPC are required or preferred depending on policy, with TNCC and ENPC valued.

Qualifications

• Recent Acute ER leadership experience required (ideally 2-3+ years of recent/consistent leadership experience).
• Charge experience but prefer Assistant Nurse Manager, Supervisor, or Manager experience; strong acute care ER experience (3-5+ years).
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing – preferred.
• Currently licensed as a registered nurse in the state of practice or active compact license.
• BLS – required.
• ACLS – preferred.
• Trauma Nursing Core Course - preferred.
• PALS/ENPC – required.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support – required.

• The Manager monitors and evaluates the provision of nursing care in accordance with established policies/procedures and holds staff accountable for quality and clinical outcomes in support of facility objectives.

Job Qualifications

Registered Nurse Manager - Emergency Room (RN MGR - ER). Full-time days. Registered Nurse Manager candidates for the Emergency Services Department must meet the following minimum job qualifications:

• Recent Acute ER leadership experience required (ideally 2-3+ years of recent/consistent leadership experience – willing to review


• Charge experience but prefer Assistant Nurse Manager, Supervisor, or Manager experience). MUST also have strong and recent acute care emergency services experience (3-5+ years of experience).


• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing – preferred


• Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in the state(s) of practice and/or has an active compact license, in accordance with law and regulation - required


• Basic Life Support (BLS) – required


• Advanced Cardiac Life Support – preferred


• Trauma Nursing Core Course -preferred


• Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (or PALS) – required


• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (or ENPC) – required


• Neonatal Resuscitation Program – preferred
