Guide new parents through personalized lactation assessments and technique demonstrations to build confidence and help families achieve their feeding goals.
Serve as the clinical lactation advocate, bridging communication between nurses and physicians to ensure seamless, cohesive support for mothers and infants.
Drive quality care standards by contributing to outcome-tracking tools that directly elevate unit-wide feeding success rates.
Develop clear patient educational materials that translate clinical guidance into accessible, easy-to-understand resources for transitioning families home.
One or more of the following required:
Registered Nurse credentialed from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) obtained within 12 Months (1 year) of hire date or job transfer date.
Registered Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained within 12 Months (1 year) of hire date or job transfer date.
Certification specializing in Neonatal Resuscitation credentialed from the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) preferred.
Certification specializing in Lactation preferred.
Certification specializing in The S.T.A.B.L.E Program preferred.
