Job summary

Ascension is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join the Emergency Department team at Ascension St Vincent Plainfield Micro Hospital in Plainfield, IN. The role is part-time with night coverage, involving direct patient care in a fast-paced ED environment.

The nurse will collaborate across disciplines, implement care plans, and coordinate discharge planning while ensuring compliance with orders and standards of care.

Qualifications

• RN license required before hire date or transfer date.
• Advanced Life Support (ALS) within 6 months of hire date or transfer date.
• BLS Provider within 30 days of hire date or transfer date.

How you’ll make an impact in this role

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• - Required Credential(s): Registered Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
• - One or more of the following: Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• - BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

• - Preferred Credential(s): Pediatric Advanced Life Support. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education

• - Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required. OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
