Job summary

Ascension invites you to join the Williamsport, IN Emergency Department as a Registered Nurse on the night shift (3x12s) with alternating holidays and weekends. You will implement care plans, coordinate multidisciplinary effort, execute orders, and support discharge planning within a high-acuity ED setting.

The role requires Indiana RN licensure, BLS, and ACLS/PALS within specified timelines, plus ER experience and a nursing diploma. Expect comprehensive health benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider within 30 days of hire required (AHA/ARC accepted).
• RN licensure in Indiana required prior to hire.
• One or more of the following required: ACLS or PALS within 6 months (AHA/ARC).

How you’ll make an impact in this role

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• One or more of the following required:
  • Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
• Emergency Room Experience
• Updated CPR, ACLS, and PALS
